About Clinch Security Services And Investigations, LLC

Our majority owner is Barbara Blanchette, who has over 20 years of experience as a special education paraprofessional. She has worked with special needs students, caring for their physical, emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities, and assisting students in achieving academic success. Barbara has worked alongside her husband James and son Adam in the private security business as the majority owner providing valuable insight and guidance to critical decision making. Barbara has an Associates Degree in Accounting from Middlesex Community College.

James Blanchette, Owner CEO:

Born in New Britain, CT James has remained a Connecticut resident his entire life. After graduating from New Britain High School, James went on to pursue a career in law enforcement. He subsequently pursued a degree in Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven and went on to further his academic career at Central Connecticut State University where he would complete his M.S. degree in Criminal Justice. James continued on the path of law enforcement after earning his degrees and was quickly accepted into the Hartford Police Department in 1982 His illustrious twenty-year career saw James spend time as team leader of the Hartford SWAT, commander of major crimes, internal affairs, special events and operations patrol, and most notably was awarded the Medal of Valor for his extraordinary use of restraint under fire. 

Outside of his career, James has many connections to the local community. In 2016, he was ordained as a permanent Deacon in the archdiocese of Hartford, CT, and has been assigned to the Annunciation Parish in Newington CT. 

Operations

Born in Berlin, CT Adam Blanchette joined the Clinch Security Services team as the Director in charge of staff and accounts in early 2019. Prior to this, Adam spent most of his career in the professional ice hockey industry, including a 5-year coaching stint, and 8 years as a player. From his hockey career, Adam acquired a unique understanding of what is required to be successful in life. After playing for and coaching numerous championship teams all over the world, Adam has been able to apply his team mentality and leadership qualities into the everyday operations of Clinch Security Services. Having traveled to numerous states and countries, Adam has a unique ability to communicate effectively with the employees of Clinch Security as well as the Clinch Security clients.
